The completion of X1 Media City Tower 2 marks the halfway point of the development, which will see four towers added to the MediaCityUK skyline.

X1 Media City has proven to be incredibly popular amongst investors, with Towers 1, 2 and 3 selling out and only the final units remaining in Tower 4. Since completion, Tower 2 is already almost completely occupied, with further residents signed up and ready to move in.

The development contains a mixture of studios, one-, two- and three-bedroom apartments and residents will have access to an on-site gymnasium and cinema room, as well as secure on-site parking.

Commenting on the completion of Tower 2, Andy Phillips, Commercial Director at Knight Knox said: “The second tower at X1 Media City is a fantastic addition to Salford Quays’ already thriving property market. Not only does it provide high quality accommodation, it also has an excellent location in the heart of MediaCityUK with a Metrolink stop right on its doorstep, so residents can commute around Greater Manchester with ease”

“The success of towers one and two is proof of how much of an excellent investment opportunity X1 Media City really is. We’re confident that Towers 3 and 4 will be equally as successful and we’re looking forward to seeing the final two towers being completed and occupied.”

Melissa Green, operations and regional director at X1 said: “The completion of X1 Media City Tower 2 has been a really exciting time in the X1 and Knight Knox calendar and we’re pleased with the already excellent occupancy rate. Towers 1 and 2 have been a resounding success and with construction for Tower 3 imminent, we’re really pleased with how X1 Media City is taking shape.”

Tower 2 will be let and managed by X1 Lettings. Construction of Tower 3 is in its early stages, with the building work being carried out by Vermont Construction.
