Knight Knox to Take on Tough Mudder for Charity
Property consultancy Knight Knox continues its 20th anniversary fundraising efforts by taking on Tough Mudder to raise money for Wooden Spoon.
This is the latest addition to the company’s year-long 20th-anniversary celebrations which has already seen the company raise over £4,200 for charity, with the goal of £20,000 in total throughout the year.
The Knight Knox team believes in the power of giving back and making a positive impact on the community and the world at large. After 20 years specialising in property investment, the Manchester-based company aims to give back and raise as much money as possible for their chosen charities.
In March, two of Knight Knox’s property consultants participated in the ballroom dance competition, Strictly Learn to Dance, in aid of Bolton Hospice and the incredible work they do! They took the Strictly crown and raised over £4,200 in the process, through a combination of fundraising and ticket sales.
Raising Money for Wooden Spoon
This July, several members of the Knight Knox team have decided to come together to participate in Tough Mudder to raise money for Wooden Spoon. Wooden Spoon is a renowned charity with a rich history over the last 40 years, dedicated to transforming the lives of children and young people facing profound physical or social disadvantages. Their mission is simple yet powerful: to harness the spirit and camaraderie of the rugby community to generate funds and support projects that empower young lives.
Research shows that 1 in 10 children in the UK and Ireland have a disability and there are 3.5 million children in the UK living in poverty. These numbers continue to rise and more and more children need our help.
Their vision is that through the power of rugby, every child and young person has access to the same opportunities.
