PRESS RELEASE: Building Commences on X1 Chapel Street
Launched to the investor market last year, construction has started on our latest student accommodation project X1 Chapel Street. An area which has already received over £10 million of investment with more set for the future, Chapel Street is now baring the fruits of its labour after scooping the prize for ‘Britain’s Most Attractive Road.’
Accolades such as this have ensured that there has been a flurry of construction activity in the area, exampled by our recent launch of X1 Town Hall and the beginning of construction on X1 Chapel Street.
These two developments were received particularly well by investors, with X1 Chapel Street completely selling out within months and X1 Town Hall now 90% sold out, even though it was only launched at the end of August, demonstrating that investors also cite Chapel Street as a prime investment destination.
Recently X1 Students, the management and lettings company for X1 Chapel Street, exhibited at the University of Manchester’s fresher’s fair receiving a number of enquiries off students who desire to live in the development, which is set to be complete for the September 2014 intake.
Purpose Built Student Accommodation is one of the most popular investment models in the UK, due to it’s high yields and even higher rental demand. Most student properties are usually found on the doorstep of university campuses or along the outskirts of city centres and, as such, are usually a lot cheaper to invest in than residential properties.
