Knight Knox has been announced as one of the headline sponsors for the highly anticipated Michael Josephson MBE Charity Ball 2023.
The Michael Josephson MBE Charity Ball is one of the most significant and star-studded fundraisers in the city that celebrates the philanthropic achievements of Michael Josephson MBE whilst raising money for chosen charities that help children and young people in need. Last year’s event featured an incredible celebrity guest list including Dynasty legend Stephanie Beacham, football royalty Paul Scholes, Olympic heroes Torvill and Dean, Coronation Street’s Katie McGlynn, Hollyoaks’ Jennifer Metcalfe and Tamara Wall, Emmerdale’s Hayley Tamaddon, Dancing On Ice legend Karen Barber and esteemed British actor Christopher Biggins to name a few. The night was a resounding success, raising a record-breaking £751,900 for the beneficiary charities.
As one of the headline sponsors for this year’s event, we are delighted to be able to continue to showcase our unwavering commitment to making a positive impact in the community. By partnering with the Michael Josephson MBE Charity Ball, Knight Knox will contribute to the vital work carried out by the charity, furthering its mission to uplift and transform lives. Family-owned construction, infrastructure and support services business, Robertson Group, are also a headline sponsor for the event, having supported the ball for the last five years.
Commenting on the sponsorship, Andy Phillips, Managing Director at Knight Knox, expressed his enthusiasm and pride at being able to support the event, stating, “I’ve followed Michael’s charitable work for a number of years now and his incredible commitment to supporting young and underprivileged people in the Greater Manchester area has always resonated strongly with me, so for Knight Knox to be able to support this cause as a headline sponsor for the charity ball is an immense privilege for me personally and professionally”.
In addition to the headline sponsors being announced, the four principal beneficiaries for the Michael Josephson MBE Charity Ball 2023 have also been announced: Variety – the Children’s Charity, Mahdlo Youth Zone, Rainbow Trust, and for the first time, The Anne Frank Trust – all of which will work with children and young people in need of support. An array of additional charities will also receive donations after the ball.
