This Grade II listed building has a long and fascinating history, having served as both a jail and a police headquarters since it was built in 1849. 

A functioning prison until the 1930s, the complex contained a prison surgery and the governor’s office, when it was part of the larger Green Bank Borough Prison which housed nearly 80 criminals when it was fully operational. 

The redevelopment has ensured that this beautiful period building has been refurbished to the highest of standards, ensuring that its Grade II listed status is acknowledged. Containing 64 studios, the rooms are accompanied by boutique-style facilities including a gymnasium and a common room.
